Unparalleled riverfront, renowned architecture.
A Lake Flato design for The Meadows Lot 14.
The landscape around Ravenwing has drawn people for millenia, and once you set foot on the Ranch, you’ll know why. The land feels both protected and open, simultaneously quiet and wild.
With expansive territorial views and over a mile of Columbia River waterfront, there is no spot on the ranch that isn’t uniquely captivating.
However, we wouldn’t really know this land if we didn’t know where it shines brightest. And one of those spots is Lot 14 in The Meadows.
We’ve long admired the architectural history of Lake Flato, and reached out about commissioning a home design specifically suited to the contours and character of this stunning piece of riverfront.

DESIGN FEATURES
-
Lake Flato carefully analyzed the natural rock formations and site features of Lot 14, and designed a residence that would effortlessly flow amongst the ancient basalt and sagebrush.
-
Commitment to indoor-outdoor living is so pronounced that those distinctions begin to blur a bit—it just feels alive. From every angle, there are views, and from every angle, an entrance to a sanctuary.
-
The opportunity to build on riverfront with historic human habitation is a rare privilege. Materials and aesthetics are critical to a structure that looks right and lives well far into the future, and Lake Flato’s concept hit the mark.
